Ever since The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jen Affleck dropped that tearful video last week revealing that she’s “going through a hard time,” fans have been wondering: Was this Jen’s way of soft-launching a breakup with Zac? And while neither of the Afflecks have explicitly confirmed where their marriage stands, Zac did provide a few subtle updates about where he stands with Jen.
Exactly a week after Jen posted her viral “life update” clip, she took to social media to provide a very different video, this time showing herself dancing while unpacking in her new California home (and also promoting the Cal AI app because the Mormon Wives are never not hustling!). And while Zac is nowhere to be seen in the vid, he did slide into her comments section to write, “The new home looks awesome!” so…pretty sure they’re trolling us with those breakup rumors.
Also: The same day Jen posted her “new beginnings” video, Zac took to his Instagram Stories to share a clip of himself getting his eyebrows waxed by an unseen woman…whose hands happen to have the same flower manicure that Jen is rocking in the above video. Coincidence? I think not!!
Fans are now theorizing that this has all been promo for the forthcoming Mormon Wives spin-off, which will reportedly follow Jen from Utah to California. Per People, Jen is the only original MomTok member who will be part of the spin-off, as the rest of the cast will be comprised of nine new faces.
Oh, and apparently, the spin-off series is slated for a fall 2026 premiere, which is…soon!
Little else has been heard about the rumored show since it was first announced in late March, but if this is Jen and Zac’s way of drumming up interest in the series, it’s definitely working. More deets as I have ‘em!
